I am delighted to share that my novel The Fall was recently featured in the Mornington Peninsula News Group under the headline Author Returns with New Thriller. It was a wonderful opportunity to talk about the story, the inspiration behind it, and what motivated me to write this book.
The Fall is set in Croatia in 2013, where Detective Eddy Muravic’s holiday quickly unravels into a dangerous investigation after the daughter of Australia’s Attorney General is found dead. The novel weaves together political tension, ethnic rivalries, and hidden secrets, as Eddy joins forces with Interpol’s Sasha Jankovic to uncover the truth before time runs out.
Writing this book allowed me to draw on my heritage and background as the son of Croatian immigrants. Born in Melbourne in 1971, I spent much of my early life in business and textiles before discovering my passion for storytelling. After caring for my late mother, I turned to writing as a way to process, reflect, and create. This journey began with The Uneasy Silence and continued with its prequel, The Fall.
I am grateful for every reader who has joined me on this journey and for the chance to share my work with a wider audience through this feature.
